یوز؛ جب کوئی کام پاسٹ میں شروع ہوا اور کسی خاص ٹائم پے پاسٹ میں ہی ختم ہو گیا۔ضروری نہیں کہ ہمیشہ ٹائم مینشن کیا جا ئےبٹ اکسر ٹائم مینشن کیا جاتا ہے، یا کہنے والا ٹائم سے اویئر ہوتا ہے۔

یوز: جب آپ پاسٹ میں چند سلسلہ وار ہونے والے کاموں کو مینشن کرنا چاہ رہےہوں۔

ڈیوریشن مینشن کریں،ڈیوریشن کےلیے “فار” کا یوز کریں۔

Habits in the Past
ماضی کی عادات کو مینشن کرنے کےلیے یہ ٹینس یوز کیا جاتا ہے۔
ایسی عادات جو ماضی کا حصہ ہوں، ان کا حال سے کوئی ربط نا ہو۔

- She studied French when I was a child.
- I played the violin.
- They didn’t play the piano.

پاسٹ کی فیکٹس کو مینشن کرنے کےلیے یوزکریں۔
ایک بات یاد رکھیں ، جب آپ کسی سپیسیفک بات کو مینشن کر رہے ہیں تو وہ جسٹ پاسٹ میں تھی، پریزنٹ میں نہیں رہی۔

- He was shy as a child, but now he is very outgoing.

Use with when-clause
- When we paid her one dollar, she answered our question.
- She answered my question when we paid her one dollar.
Adverb Placement
Place the adverb just after the subject.
- She just called Debbie.
- Did she just call Debbie?
